Discrepancies between specification and drawing notes are governed by drawing notes. 2. Septic tank shall be 750 gal. min. per King County Health Dept. specifications. 3. Drain tile: a. 4" diaml min. b. Slope: min - 2" per 100 max - 6" per 100 e. Open joints 3/8" and cover with asphalt paper d. Have 6" of washed gravel under tile e. Cover: min 6 ", max 24" f. 6 - 0" min c. to o. spacing 4. Gravel a. Size: 1" to 3" washed b. No gravel within 24" of septic tank or distribution box. c. Gravel shall be covered with light untreated paper before backfilling. Trench a. Min width: 24" with flat bottom b. Grade boards, securely staked to trench bottom, shall be provided for all field tile lines. o. Septic tank and distribution box shall be connneoted with at least 1 pc. of 4" bell tile. d. Distribution box shall have 1 pc. of 4" bell tile following it, for each line of tile. 6. Line from house shall be kept as high as possible. 7. Work shall be done by authorized craftsmen.
