April 23, 1962
The recessed meeting of the Tukwila City Council was called to order by the l'iayor
John B. Strander. Councilmen present were Stanley :_inkier, E.TJ. Ives Jerry Tiarnilton
Dick Bowen and Bill Aliment.
A public hearing was the first order of business ::herein the rezone of a certian
area newly annexed to Tukwila was in discussion.
A letter received from the the Planning Caa fission was read, wherein xxxgx a
recommendation for M -1 zoning was arcade.
Mr. Aliment moved that council accept this recoi_u:lendation seconded by :ref. :=inkier
and carried.
Ifir. Ives moved that ordinance if 360, relating to thie zoning,, be placed on its fist
reading, seconded by Mr. Hamilton and carried
Mr. Hamilton moved that ordinance if 360 be placed on its second reading, seconded
by Mr. Ives and carried.
i`ir. Minkler moved that ordinance if 360 be placed on its 3rd and final reading,
seconded by Mr. Hamilton and carried.
Iir. I:inkier moved that all bliss approved by the finance committee be allowed and
warrents drawn up for their respective amounts, seconded by 'Tr. "airilton and carried.
Mr. Hamilton moved that council adjourn, seconded by Mr. Ives and carried.
