July 6, 1961
The regular meeting of the Tukwila Town Council, continued from
July 5, 1961, was called to order by the 1dayor, Charles 0. Baker,
at 8:00 P.M. Councilmen_ present were Stan ilinkler, E. W. Ives, R.
K. Doyle and Jerry Aamilton.
Mr. Baker commended the Tukwila mire Dept. for their faithful
response to fire calls on July 4th. The Council joined in prais-
ing the firemen for their efforts in fighting grass fires.
The following bill was allowed and upon motion ordered paid
Current Street Fund- Eugene EHifstrom, labor, June X3.59
ordinance '�o. 332, amending Ord. 320 and 321, was:: by motion
of Mr. Hamilton, placed on its first reading, seconded by Mr. Ives
and carried.
The easements presented by Puget Western, were studied. There was
also som discussion on the progress of road work in the Southcenter
development.
By motion the meeting was continued until 8 :00 p.m., July 7,1961.
July 7, 1961
The regular meeting of the Tukwila Town Council, continued from
July 6, 1961, was called to order by the Mayors Charles 0. Baker, at
8:00 P.M. Councilmen present were Stan Mihkler, A. G. Radford, E. W.
Ives, R. K. Doyle and ferry Hamilton.
The Council reviewed Sewer problems and discussed sanitation
problems in town.
At 8 :40 Mayor Raker declared the meeting continued until 8 :00 P.M.
July 10, 1961.
July 19, 1961
The regular meeting of the Tukwila Town Council, continued from
July 7, 1961, was called to order by the Mayor, Charles 0. Baker, at
8:00 P.M. Councilmen present were Stan iviinkler, A. G. nadford, E. W.
Ives, R. K. Doyle and Jerry Hamilton.
A bill for Town phones of 450,00 to be paid from the Current
Expense Fund was presented and upon motion of Stan �linkler, ordered
paid.
Mr. Drugge, Mr. Harstad, Mrr; Wells McCurdy and II4r. Williams joined
the Council in a. discussion of the bids on the Sewage Pond, which they
considered too high.
Mr. minkler moved Council reject all bids on Schedule C seconded
by Mr. hamilton and carried.
Mr. Doyle moved meeting adjourn, seconded by Mr. Hamilton and carried.
Adjourned at 9 :10.
