Mayor Baker referred to the Planning Commission a request by the Milwaukee Railroad for spurs into the Andover Development property. By motion meeting acajourned at 9 :30. Charles 0. Baker, Mayor Lois T. Newton, Clerk January 19, 1961 A Special meeting of the Tukwila Town Council was called to order by the Mayor, Charles 0. Baker, at 9 :45 P.M. to consider the recommendation of the Planning Commission that the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railway be granted permission to extend a spur line into the Andover Industrial Tracts. Councilmen present were Stan Minkler, A. G. Radford, E. W. Ives and R. K. Doyle. Mr. Doyle moved that the Council accept the recommendation of the Planning Commission and grant the request of the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railway to cross State Highway 5 -M at grade with spur line to service Andover Industrial Tracts in the Town of Tukwila, seconded by Mr. Ives and carried. 1 Mr. Doyle also moved that the Council accept the recommendation of the Planning Commission and grant the request of the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railway a temporary crossing of Christianson Road In the Town of Tukwila as per grade specifications in request with recommendation that spproaches and between tract areas be black topped, seconded by Mr. Radford and carried.
