CALL TO ORDER: The meeting was called to order at 5:00 p.m.
I. PRESENTATIONS
No presentations.
II. BUSINESS AGENDA
A. Tukwila Bicycle Routes and Sidewalk Segments Design Report
As an information only item, staff reported on the results of the completed Tukwila Bicycle Routes and
Sidewalk Segments Design Report conducted by Perteet, Inc.
The design report, which was completed in June 2010, was conducted to determine requirements for
constructing projects as outlined in the City's Walk Roll Plan. The design report presents four
deliverables for each reported project:
1. Improvement Options
2. Project Design
3. Screening Analysis (relative difficulty of each project)
4. Costs
Completion of this design report will assist the City in prioritizing and incorporating projects into the CIP.
Additionally, it will also improve the City's competitive edge when applying for applicable grant funds. In
closing, staff reported that the City recently received an honorable mention from the Planning Association
of Washington's Joint Awards Program for the Walk Roll Plan and Design Report INFORMATION
ONLY.
