A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, ADOPTING A LAND USE FEE SCHEDULE TO INCLUDE
SIGN PERMIT FEES, AND AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 1718.
WHEREAS, on June 21, 2010 the City Council of the City of Tukwila adopted Resolution
1718 which established a new fee schedule for land use, environmental, and sign permit
applications. The new fee schedule became effective on July 1, 2010; and
WHEREAS, on August 16, 2010, the City Council of the City of Tukwila passed Ordinance
No. 2303 which enacted a new sign code for the City of Tukwila; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance 2303 establishes new permit applications which were not included
under the previous sign code and thus permit fees under Resolution 1718 were not established;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to include fees for sign permit applications which will
allow the City to recover the City's full cost for review and processing of sign permit
application; and
WHEREAS, budget constraints prevent the City from retaining the lower fee schedule for
LDR zoned properties; and
NOW THEREFORE THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Resolution 1718 is hereby amended as follows to include the following sign
permit application fees:
