waterway, or upon the ground, sidewalk, street, highway or into the atmosphere. (IFC 2703.3)
9: Visible hazard identification signs shall be placed at entrances to locations where hazardous materials are stored,

13: Vent pipe outlets for tanks storing Classl, 2 or 3A liquids shall be located such that the vapors are released at a
safe point outside of buildings and not less than 12 feet above the adjacent ground. (IFC 3404.2.7.3.3)
14: An operational permit is required for the use, storage or handling of flammable or combustible liquids. (IFC 105.6.17,
Chapter 34)
