HomeMy WebLinkAbout91-149 - Highline Water District - Crystal Springs Park Water Service CITY OF TUKWILA 6200 SOUTHCENTER BOULEVARD, TUKWILA, WASHINGTON 98188 October 8, 1991 Mr. Jay Gibson, Manager Highline Water District 19863 28th South Kent, WA 98032 Subject: Water Service Agreement for Crystal Springs Park Dear Mr. Gibson, Per the Highline Water District's request, we have prepared this letter to establish a clear understanding concerning a request by the City of Tukwila to the Highline Water District to serve the second phase area of Crystal Springs Park. It is understood the park area is located outside of the water franchise area of the Highline Water District and is normally served by the City of Tukwila. However due to low water pressure in the City's water system, it is not practical for the City to serve the new park site. The City requests the Highline Water District provide a water meter and water to this park area and provides permission to do so. The area to be served is bounded on the south by South 160th Street, on the west by 48th Avenue South, on the north by South 158th Street and on the east by 51st Avenue South. By signing this letter, both parties agree to the request for water service to be provided by the Highline Water District within Tukwila's water service area. The City shall pay all normal fees for a meter and its installation. If there is anything else we can do, please contact Don Williams, Parks and Recreation Director, at 433- 1843. Thank you for your help in this matter. Sincer /AIP tfrry a Dusen Mayor Highline Water District agrees to the intent of this letter Signed -0) U Title .,Y.
