This will improve public access to the station from all parts of the center and provide a direct, safe and enjoyable walking and bicycling experience. The high level of urban amenity will attract the types and densities of uses envisioned in a regional center. The bridge type will be a twin -tied arch bridge. The design includes way finding approaches to the bridge on both sides of the Green River to nrovide logical and useable annroaches for all users. Project Title Date Tukwila Urban Center Pedestrian/Bicycle Bridge 02/09/2012 Right of Way Required No Relocation Relocation Required Description of Utility Relocation or Adjustments and Existing Major Structures Involved in the Project Coordination with footing placement and approach trails will be required so as to not negatively impact SPU's 60" water main. No relocation of the main will occur. Footings will also be designed around the existing Green River levee on the west side of the river to allow for future stepping of the levee. No relocation of the levee will occur with this project. One existing single family home will need to be demolished for the east footing and landing area. Relocation of the existing homeowner is likely to be required. FAA Involvement Is any airport located within 3.2 kilometers (2 miles) of the proposed project?
