The Local Agency desires to supplement the agreement entered into and executed on April 20,2006
All provisions in the basic agreement remain in effect except as expressly modified by this supplement.
The changes to the agreement are described as follows:

Name Tukwila Urban Center Pedestrian/Bike Bridge over Green River Length 0.64 mile
Termini approximately between Baker Blvd (if extended) and Longacres Way (if extended)
Description of Work No Change
Non motorized bridge over Green River and wayfmding approach improvements along Baker Blvd to include bike lanes, trail
connector to the Interurban Trail east of West Valley Highway, and a new pedestrian signal on West Valley Highway
Reason for Supplement
Obligation of additional Enhancement Funds and CMAQ Funds

Design and preliminary engineering of a new pedestrian/bicycle bridge across the Green River, connecting the Tukwila Urban
Center "core" to the Sounder Commuter Rail/Amtrak Station and surrounding neighborhood of transit- oriented development.
This will improve public access to the station from all parts of the center and provide a direct, safe and enjoyable walking and
bicycling experience. The high level of urban amenity will attract the types and densities of uses envisioned in a regional center.
The bridge type will be a twin -tied arch bridge. The design includes way finding approaches to the bridge on both sides of the
Green River to nrovide logical and useable annroaches for all users.

Description of Utility Relocation or Adjustments and Existing Major Structures Involved in the Project
Coordination with footing placement and approach trails will be required so as to not negatively impact SPU's 60"
water main. No relocation of the main will occur. Footings will also be designed around the existing Green River
levee on the west side of the river to allow for future stepping of the levee. No relocation of the levee will occur with
this project. One existing single family home will need to be demolished for the east footing and landing area.
Relocation of the existing homeowner is likely to be required.
