project name, permit number and type of inspection being
performed.
9. The special inspector shall submit a final signed report
stating whether the work requiring special inspection was,
to the best of the inspector's knowledge, in conformance
with approved plans and specifications and the applicable
workmanship provisions of the UBC.

This is to inform you that a STOP WORK notice was placed on the site of new
construction in progress at the aforementioned location on Feb 02, 2000
by the City of Tukwila Building Department.
You are in apparent violation of the City of Tukwila Municipal Code Section

We reviewed the proposed project for compliance with the structural provisions of the
1997 Edition of the Uniform Building Code as amended and adopted by the City of
Tukwila. The following comments should be addressed by the permit applicant. A copy
of this letter was forwarded to the project contact for your convenience.
1. The following list of comments should be responded to in itemized letter form.
The permit applicant should have the Engineer of Record respond and resubmit
two copies of revised structural drawings and one copy of supplemental
calculations. All information should be submitted directly to Reid
Middleton, Inc.
2. Shop drawings dated 1/14/00 have been submitted for review; however, the
structural drawings and calculations should be sealed and stamped by the
Engineer of Record per UBC Section 106.3.2. A complete structural review will
be performed during the next submittal.
3. Several structural details have been submitted on 8 1/2 by 11 sheets. The City of
Tukwila requires that all design drawings be included in a complete set of full
size plans, sealed by a structural engineer licensed in the state of Washington.
Corrections and comments made during the review process do not relieve the project
applicant or designer from compliance with code requirements, conditions of approval,
and permit requirements; nor is the designer relieved of responsibility for a complete
design in accordance with the laws of the state of Washington. This plan review check is
for general compliance with the Uniform Building Code as it relates to the project.

UBC special inspections for the above - referenced project. AGRA performed inspections for this
project beginning on February 1, 2000 through February 4, 2000 as requested and scheduled by
representatives of Sabey Construction. Daily Field Reports were prepared and distributed at the
time our services were provided. These Daily Field Reports are attached and form the basis for
this final summary of our inspections.
