SPONSOR'S Washington State Department of Ecology has awarded $54 million in funding for local
SUMMARY governments implementing requirements of the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination
System (NPDES) Phase I and II Stormwater permits. The City of Tukwila's share of this
funding is $118,112.00 in the form of a non competitive grant. No matching funds are
required. Council is being asked to accept this grant for the NPDES projects programmed
in 2011.
