Remstar unit was installed using the Hilti anchors as required by the drawing (Hilti HSL- M16). Original embedment called out 4 locations as shown in detail A2.2 / detail 8. In a conversation with Alex Clark on 4.18-00 — A2.2 / detail 7 was changed to be the same as detail 8. This increased locations to 8 requiring the HSL style anchor (24 anchors total). • All anchors were installed as per specs. • An M -16 concrete drill bit was used to drill the concrete to a depth of 4 to 5 ". • Brushed and vacuumed out holes. • Inserted anchor, drove down, tightened anchor. • Anchors embedded 4 1 /4" Total of 8 locations — 3 anchors per location Remstar unit was also installed using a ' /s" x 6" wedge style anchor per A2.2. Exception: During the install we had an issue with 2 anchors on footplate base #6. On the east side of the unit we hit rebar in the floor and we could only get embedment to 3" on 1 of the 3 anchors and on the west side we hit the same rebar and could not install 1 of the 3 anchors.
