CALL TO ORDER: The meeting was called to order at 5:00 p.m.

II. BUSINESS AGENDA
A. King County Metro Transit: Transit Reductions and Policy Changes
As an information only item, staff reported on draft recommendations being made by the Regional Transit
Task Force (RTTF) to King County Council.
Proposed changes for funding for regional transit services actually suggest a benefit to the City and
identifies South King County as a higher priority for transportation than previously. Staff noted that these
draft changes set the framework for transit reductions and service recovery and planning for growth in the
reflection of the current economy. INFORMATION ONLY.
B. City Council Preliminary 2011 -12 Budget Review
The Committee reviewed the 2011 -12 Biennial Budget pages as listed below in preparation of full Council
discussion and review of the budget.
Shawn Hunstock distributed replacement copies for the following budget sections:
Public Works Bridges and Arterial Streets
Land Acquisition, Recreation and Park Development
CIP Page 51 Duwamish Hill Preserve
Facility Replacement (302 Fund)
General Government Improvements
Equipment Rental
The replacements sheets are yellow, and will be given to the remaining four Councilmembers not in the
Committee meeting. Due to page numbering changes, it is recommend you do not dispose of the original
white sheets, please maintain them for future reference.
