2. All permits, inspection records, . and approved plans shall be

struction. These documents are to be maintained and avail-
able until final inspection approval is granted.

State Division of Labor and Industries and all electrical

County.: Department of Public Health. Plumbing will be

5. All mechnice1 work shall be under separate permit issued , by
the "City of Tukwila.
6. All construction to be done in conformance with approved
plans and requirements of the Uniform Building Code (1997 .
Edition) as amended, Uniform Mechanical Code (1997 Edition),
and Washington State EnerdyCode (1997 Edition).
7. Validity of Permit. The `issuance of a permit or approval : of
plans, ` :specifications, and computations shall not be con-
strued to be a permit for, or an approval of, any violation
ofi`any of the provisions of the building code or of any

Dear Mr. Steele:
In reviewing our current permit files, it appears that your permit for a free standing frame office inside a
234,450 sq. ft. facility, issued on January 12, 2001, has not received a final inspection by the City of
Tukwila Building Division as of the date of this letter.
Per the Uniform Building Code and /or Uniform Mechanical Code, every permit issued by the building
official under the provision of this code shall expire by limitation and become null and void if the building
or work authorized by such permit is not commenced within 180 days from the date of such permit, or if
the building or work authorized by such permit is suspended or abandoned at any time for a period of 180
days, after the work is commenced.
Based on the above, if the final inspection is not called for within ten (10) business days from the date of
this letter, the Permit Center will close your file and the work completed to date will be considered non-
complying and not in conformance with the Uniform Building Code and /or Mechanical Code.
Please contact the Permit Center at (206) 431 -3670 if you wish to schedule a final inspection. Thank you

The attached set of building plans have been reviewed by
The Fire Prevention Bureau and are acceptable with the
following concerns:
1. Exit hardware and marking shall meet the requirements
of the Uniform Fire Code. (UFC 1207 -1212)
2. Maintain sprinkler coverage per N.F.P.A. 13.
Addition /relocation of walls, closets or partitions may
require relocating and /or adding sprinkler heads.
All new sprinkler systems and all modifications to
existing sprinkler systems shall have fire department
review and approval of drawings prior to installation
or modification. New sprinkler systems and all
modifications to sprinkler systems involving more than
50 heads shall have the written approval of the
W.S.R.B., Factory Mutual, Industrial Risk Insurers,
Kemper or any other representative designated and /or
recognized by The City of Tukwila, prior to submittal
to the Tukwila Fire Prevention Bureau. No sprinkler
work shall commence without approved drawings. (City

Contact The Tukwila Fire Prevention Bureau to witness
