action, restore the three firefighter positions identified for elimination in the City's
preliminary budget.

SPONSOR'S City Administration and Tukwila Firefighters Local No. 2088 have reached agreement on a
SUMMARY wage freeze for 2011. This agreement will go into effect only if the City Council restores
three firefighter positions to the final budget for 2011 -2012. The proposed motion will
indicate the Council's intention to do so.
The Council is being asked to consider this item and make a motion at the Special Meeting
to follow the C.O.W. on November 8. 2010.
