2: No changes will be made to the plans unless approved by the Engineer and the Tukwila Building Division.
3: Plumbing permits shall be obtained through the Seattle -King County Department of Public Health. Plumbing will be
inspected by that agency, including all gas piping (296- 4722).
4: Electrical permits shall be obtained through the Washington State Division of Labor and Industries and all electrical
work will be inspected by that agency (206- 835 - 1111).
5: All permits, inspection records, and approved plans shall be available at the job site prior to the start of any
construction. These documents are to be maintained and available until final inspection approval is granted.
6: All construction to be done in conformance with approved plans and requirements of the Uniform Building Code (1997
Edition) as amended, Uniform Mechanical Code (1997 Edition), and Washington State Energy Code (1997 Edition).
7: Validity of Permit. The issuance of a permit or approval of plans, specifications, and computations shall not be
construed to be a permit for, or an approval of, any violation of any of the provisions of the building code or of any
other ordinance of the jurisdiction. No permit presuming to give authority to violate or cancel the provisions of this
code shall be valid.
8: Removal of septic tanks require approval and compliance with permit and inspection requirements through the Seattle -
King County Department of Public Health (296- 4722).
9: ** *FIRE DEPARTMENT CONDITIONS * **
10: The attached set of plans have been reviewed by The Fire Prevention Bureau and are acceptable with the following
concerns:
11: All interior demo debris must be removed prior to demo of the automatic sprinkler system. Contact the Tukwila Fire
Prevention Bureau at 206 - 575 - 4407 for an inspection of the building prior to shut down of the automatic sprinkler
system.
12: Accumulation of combustible waste material is prohibited during the demolition phase of this project. Remove and
properly dispose of all waste material prior to the close of the working day and as often throughout the day as needed.
13: This review limited to speculative tenant space only - special fire permits may be necessary depending on detailed
description of intended use.
14: Any overlooked hazardous condition and /or violation of the adopted Fire or Building Codes does not imply approval of
such condition or violation.
15: These plans were reviewed by Inspector 512. If you have any questions, please call Tukwila Fire Prevention Bureau at
(206)575 -4407.

Dear Mr. Nelson: '� ►,
I am writing to you, on behalf of my employer, to seek a T.C.O. for the large warehouse type
building at the subject location. We seek this T.C.O. during the pendency of completing recent] t
mandated items by the fire department; e.g.., installation of emergency egress lighting and freeze
protection for the fire suppression system. This work should be completed mid - January 2005.
In return for the granting of the T.C.O., IAA represents and warrants as follows:
❑ we will not conduct auctions after 3:00 p.m.
❑ during auctions we will keep open the overhead doors on the North, South and West
sides of the building
❑ we will employ security guards during the auctions and part of their duties will
include fire watch
IAA has to relocate from its condemned Woodinville, WA site ( "Brightwater ") by December 31,
2004. Thank you for your consideration of and sensitivity to our compelling need for the T.C.O.
