AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE SALARIJS AND COMPENSATIONS OF OFFICERS AND EMPLOYES Ci
OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES
IN CONFLICT THEREWITH.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA:
Section 1. That the salaries and compensations of the various officers and
employees of the City of Tukwila are hereby set and fixed as follows for the
year 1965:
Mayor $1200.00 per year
Councilmen for each councilmen 120.00 per year
Treasurer 5400.00 per year
Clerk 4620.00 per year
General Superintendent 7687.00 per year
Field Superintendent 7400.00 per year
Chief of Police 7000.00 per year
Police Patrolman 1 6700.00 per year
Police Patrolman 2 6300.00 per year
Police Patrolman 3 6000.00 per year
Police and Court Clerk 2205.00 per year
Police Matron 2205.00 per year
Extra labor, on a sliding scale from 1.50 per hour
to 3.00 per hour
not to exceed, in general Government 600.00 per year
not to exceed, in the Police Department 2600.00 per year
not to exceed, in the Park Department 500.00 per year
not to exceed, in the Street Department 5925.00 per year
not to exceed, in the Water Works Utility 9024.00 per year
Section 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict are hereby
repealed.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage, approval and publication as provided by law.
PASSED by the City Council and approved by the Mayor this c 1 day of
December 1964.
