RREEF elected to install a corridor in this wing of the building for a number of reasons; the main one being that there has been little market for one large space, such as was presented by the open plan that had been the previous layout of this floor. Also — the finishes were at the end of their life cycle, and not conducive to creating potential leasing interest in the space. It was felt that the creation of a hallway and new finishes would provide spaces in the building that would be more marketable. The permitted work on the corridor was purely meant to create spaces that would be more attractive to show to potential tenants. At the time, and still currently, there are no lease agreements for the resultant vacant spaces adjacent to the new hallway. There has been recently been some interest in the resultant vacant spaces. In all cases, additional offices, break rooms, etc. have been a part of the potential tenant's interest in the space. In the case that a lease is signed, RREEF certainly will have improvements to make, and will permit for the additional tenant improvements built out at that time. I request that upon completion of the hallway, you allow that work to be finalled out. This will enable RREEF to present a professionally finished floor when marketing these spaces to potential tenants.
