THERE WILL BE NO ADDITIONAL COLUMNS OR FOOTINGS, BUT A NEW SLAB WILL BE PROVIDED TO ALLOW PROPER DRAINAGE TO THE CLEANOUT RAMP AND SUMP. THE NEW RAMP WILL ALLOW MACHINE CLEANING AND DISPOSAL OF EXCESS SEDIMENT RATHER THAN THE CURRENT SUMP IN THE SLAB REQUIRING HAND EXCAVATION. IT WILL ALSO PROVIDE BETTER SEDIMENT CONTROL AND OIL/WATER SEPARATION PRIOR TO DISCHARGE INTO THE SANITARY SEWER SYSTEM. THE SOILS MUST BE ADEQUATE TO SUPPORT THE TRUCK AND EQUIPMENT TRAFFIC OVER THE NEW SLAB AND EXCAVATED RAMP.
