On 13 January 1972, Building Permit #06S wee issued to Mr. D.A. B riewi.ak,
President of Ace Galvanising, inc., to construct a hotkilp galvanising

operation near the Duwesiish River in the vicinity of 143rd Avenue with.
Upon reinepection, by this office, of the Site Plan submitted by Mfr.
Brie wick, the following information has came to :fright:
1. Approximately 40A of the proposed building will be constructed
within the wetland area of the Duwami.ah River,
2. Approximately of the zinc tank necessary for operation,
to be contained within the proposed building, will be within
the wetland area of the Duwaaiah River.
Due to the fact that the proposed construction will take place within
the wetland area, as defined in Section 3(2)(t), Chapter 286, Laws of 1971.
let Ex* Utopian, of the Duwa mish River, it is necessary that Mr. Driewick
apply to the City of Tukwila for a Shoreline Management Substantial
Development Permit.
This office regweete that building permit #65 be revoked so as to
allow review of the application for Shoreline Management Substantial,
Develoixnont Pernit by the City of Tukwila, State Department of Ecology,
and the State Attorney General in regards to Section 2, Chapter 286,
Laws of 19711 lot Ex. Session.

The plans for your Hot. Dip Galitanizing Plant have been returned to me.
As a conditional part of your Building Permit, I am forwarding a copy
of the letter from Overlake Building Consultants concerning your plant.
Also, included as a part of your. Building Permit is a letter from
Hubert Crawley, City. Fire Marshal, concerning the Fire Protection
Requirements for this structure.
Please understand that this permit is granted solely for the purposes
of removing your building from its present site, at Boeing Plant #2, and
re- erecting this structure (to conform with plans submitted January 13,
1972) on your property at ¢43S South 143rd, Tukwila. In. no war does this
permit'grant you the right to occupy this structure oxLa y other
structure on this property.
It is understood that the issuance of this Building Permit i065
constitutes your agreement with the requirements and conditions
forth in this letter and the two above mentioned letters.

Dear Sir:
The following are requirement for this installation;
1. Sprinkler system shall be installed and capped. The Fire Marshal
reserves the right to require that the system be connected within
30 ( thirty days ) notice to the owners.
A concrete block wall no less than 3 ( three feet ) high: shall be
constructed the total distance of the building on the west side and
on the south side. This will prevent spills and splashes from
reaching property lines.
Fire extinguishers shall be installed in accordance to N.F.P.A.
phamplet No. 10 and 10 A.
It is advised to check with all agencies to :do with employee
- safety for their requirements.
