P ROCLAMATION o
WHEREAS, Nancy Hinthorne has served as the Southwest King County $0
Chamber of Commerce President and Chief Executive Officer for the past 12
years; and
ee; WHEREAS, the Chamber of Commerce serves the Cities of Burien, Des
s Moines, SeaTac and Tukwila, as well as the Seattle- Tacoma International Airport,
and has encouraged the growth of a strong regional economy; and
WHEREAS a strong and vibrant community is vital to the success of the f'
City of Tukwila; and,

WHEREAS, during Nancy's tenure, the Chamber of Commerce has helped
r t businesses in Tukwila grow and become a vibrant entity within the Cit
g y y'
Nancy's participation in the Southwest King County Economic Development
Initiative, Tukwila's Lodging Tax Advisory Board, the Tukwila International
Boulevard Action Committee, and other groups and committees, has been 1 I
invaluable; and
WHEREAS, Nancy's leadership has fostered a healthy partnership between
the business community and the City of Tukwila; and,
WHEREAS, Nancy has worked many years to make Tukwila a better i
community, for everyone who visits, works or lives in Tukwila;
