room by utilizing the indicated doorway off the
character of the residence will be such that an area might be
opened for the chimney and fireplaces at a future date
without weakening the structure. This shall be done by means of
utilizing laminated beams in the original construction
immediately north and immediately south of the fireplaces'
indicated locations on the basement and main floor (sheets
10 and 11), and by utilizing two 2x12's as a header between
the laminated beamsimmediately east of the future fireplaces
and by "boxing-off" with 2x12's the area in which the fireplaces
and chimney will someday pass.
At such time that the fireplaces shall be added to the
residence, a permit will be applied for from the City of '
Tukwila, and all required data and fees shall-be submitted
at that time. Until such time, the furnace indicated on the
Ybasement level (sheet 10) will use a metal-bestos or dura-vent
typeof, material (in compliance with the 1970 Uniform Building
