We are returning to you under separate cover the above subject
plan which has been checked for conformance with the Uniform
Building Code and following are the comments of our plan checker:
1. A fire - resistive occupancy separation in conformance with
Table No. 5 -B and Section 503 is required between the truck
storage and balance of the building, equal to one -hour.
2. Nonabsorbent finishand backing for toilet room walls and
floor should conform to Section 1711 (a).
3. Exhaust ventilation at or near floor level is required by
Section 1105.
4. Conforming exits are required from the apparatus room.
Door 9 or 11 do not comply. The building official may allow
door 1 as an exit if he deems it an appropriate alternate.
Section 3303 (g).
5. Special inspection in conformance with Section 305 is re-
quired for all structural and light gauge welding.
6. Precast concrete wall panels are limited to an h/t ratio
of 25. Section 2622 (e). Minimum of 6" wall panels are re-
quired.
7. Justifying calculations and details should be provided
for wind loads, area is in a 25 pound area. Reduction below
30' = 20 pounds, but area between 30' and 50' = 25 pounds per
square foot.
