City of Tukwila 4 Jim H aggerton, Mayor 9 OB INFORMATIONAL MEMORANDUM TO: Mayor Haggerton Transportation Committee FROM: Bob Giberson, Public Works Director J DATE: March 2, 2011 SUBJECT: Strander Boulevard Extension Phase II Right -of -Way Dedication ISSUE Approve a Right -of -Way Dedication related to the Strander Boulevard Extension Phase 11 project from a city -owned parcel located between the Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) and Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR) rights -of -way. BACKGROUND The Interlocal Agreement with the City of Renton specifies that Tukwila will dedicate the necessary right -of -way for the Strander Boulevard Extension project from a city owned parcel located between the BNSF and UPRR rights -of -way. A plan sheet that shows the planned improvements is attached for reference.
