SUMPTION OF INTOXICATING LIQUOR, PROHIBITING THE ACQUISITION
AND POSSESSION THEREOF BY MINORS, PROVIDING PENALTY FOR V/0-

ORDINANCE NO 413 AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO AND REGULATING POSSESSION AND CON-
SUMPTION OF INTOXICATING LIQUOR, PROHIBITING THE ACQUISITION
AND POSSESSION THEREOF BY MINORS, PROVIDING PENALTY FOR VIO-
LATION OF THIS ORDINANCE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON AS FOLLOWS:
Sec. 1 It is unlawful for any person under the age of 21 years to
acquire in any manner, to consume or to have in his possession
any intoxicating liquor as said term is defined by the Wash-
ington State Liquor Act; provided, however, that this section
shall not apply in the event such liquor is given or adminis-
tered to the minor by his parents or guardian for medicinal
purposes or duly administered to said minor by a duly licensed
physician or dentist for medicinal purposes, and no person
shall give, or otherwise supply liquor to any person under the
age of twenty -one (21) years, or permit any person under that
age to consume liquor on his premises or on any premises under
his control.
Sec. 2 Any person violating any of the provisions of this ordinance
shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof
shall be punished by a fine of not more than $300.00 or by
imprisonment for not more than 90 days or by both such fine
and imprisonment.
Sec. 3 This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage, approval and legal publication.
