The kiosk is designed to accommodate a number of different configurations by interchanging some of the various parts. Even though the amount of drawings which follow are extensive they are meant to depict the design "intent" of the kiosk and its parts. Careful attention should be made during fabrication to the way the separate parts will be assembled later. Some additional parts which are optional may be switched in the future, the fabricator should construct the cabinets exactly as shown on the plans to allow optional parts, possibly fabricated by others, to be installed without having to template existing conditions. This standard "prototype" set of construction documents is for the basic "ideal kiosk scenario." Most often modifications to this unit will occur due to mall location, requirements and criteria. Due to the complexity of this Kiosk., it is essential that the Contractor or Client bring to the immediate attention of AGM any variations, discrepancies or conditions that may affect the design, assembly and smooth construction of this project. Since AGM cannot detail every aspect of this project, some conditions and details might need to be confirmed during the Kiosk fabrication and installation by the Contractor. AGM will not be held responsible for pre - existing conditions which could not have been known prior to installation or fabrication. Adjustments such as redesign, engineering and details may need to be done at the Client's expense, as determined by AGM. Any references to the fabricator or contractor shall mean the entity creating the desk. Any references to the owner or client shall mean Verizon Wireless. .General Notes and Specifications: These conditions are binding on the General Contractor and each Sub- Contractor insofar as they apply to the work of either. All work shall conform with all applicable local, city, state and mall code requirements at the installed location of the kiosk. All work, including but not limited to, general construction, plumbing, electrical and mechanical, shall be performed in accordance with The Building Code of the state and municipality having jurisdiction at the installed location of this unit. Codes shall have all of the latest supplements with the latest Federal, State and local codes in effect and having jurisdiction, as well as standard construction practices. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, appliances and equipment required to complete all work, etc., as shown on drawings, unless otherwise specified. The Contractor shall obtain and pay for all necessary permits, licenses, inspections and other fees, both permanent and temporary, necessary to execute and install his work. It is the Verizon Wireless protect manager's responsibility to verify what fire rating is required for the kiosk at the installed location. All kiosks shall be constructed of fire resistant materials with standard finishes, if an upgrade to a more strict fire /smoke rating is required (class 'A' or type '1'), the Contractor shall provide any related upcharges or time delays to the client prior to beginning work. The Contractor shall verity all conditions before submitting his proposal. No allowance for extra charges will be permitted due to a lack of knowledge of the conditions, except as otherwise specified in the contract documents. No extra work shall be paid for except on the order of the Architect or Client. The Client will not be liable for any extra work not ordered by him. Substitutions for products specified herein shall be permitted only with the Architect's or Client's approval. Any requests for substitution by the Contractor shall be submitted to the Architect or Client with the appropriate literature, specifications, etc. The warranty and performance of a substituted product or material shall equal or exceed the originally specified product. In addition, Contractor shall warrant that substituted materials shall perform as specified. Samples for substitions must be submitted with full documentation in sets of two (2); one (1) set will be returned. Provide three (3) or more samples in each set where variations in color, pattern or texture are noticeable. Samples should represent the average condition and the extreme range of variations. Sample submittals are for the review of color, texture pattern and "kind". Contractor shall keep the returned samples at the project site for quality control purposes. Contractor shall coordinate all aspects of the work with: all Sub - Contractors and Suppliers engaged to perform work. Contractor shall provide AGM and the Client an estimated construction schedule for the project including times of completion of various parts so that an inspection schedule may be made (at Clients direction) at key stages of development for this kiosk. A punch list outlining work to be corrected, finished, performed or completed shall be submitted by the Contractor. All work outlined on the initial punch list shall be completed by the Contractor prior to the final inspection and before the project will be accepted. After all requirements preparatory to the final inspection have been completed, the Contractor shall notify the Architect to perform a final inspection. If all the work has been completed including punch -list items from earlier inspections and no further corrections are required, then the Architect shall recommend final acceptance of the project. Contractor shall be responsible for the start -up of all equipment furnished, installed or serviced under this contract. Contractor shall verify that all equipment, electrical systems and appliances are functional. Final Cleaning: At the time of project close -out, the Contractor shall thoroughly clean and ready the Kiosk for use. This shall, at minimum, include all fixtures, equipment, walls, floors, ceilings, hardware, light fixtures, replacement of burned out lamps, removal of non - permanent protection and labels, and touch -up of any minor finish damage. Damage to any finish, surface, equipment or object caused during cleaning shall be repaired or replaced by the Contractor at his own cost. At final payment the Contractor shall deliver to the Owner a complete release of all Sub - Contractors and suppliers' liens arising out of this contract, or receipts in full covering all labor and materials for which a lien could be filed or a bond satisfactory to the Owner indemnifying him against any lien.
