Copies of all special inspection reports shall be submitted to the Building Division in a timely manner. Reports shall contain address, project name, permit number and type of inspection being performed. 9: Any exposed insulations backing material shall have a Flame Spread Rating of 25 or less, and material shall bear identification showing the fire performance rating thereof. 10: All construction to be done in conformance with approved plans and requirements of the Uniform Building Code (1997 Edition) as amended, Uniform Mechanical Code (1997 Edition), and Washington State Energy Code (1997 Edition). 11: Notify the City of Tukwila Building Division prior to placing any concrete. This procedure is in addition to any requirements for special inspection. 12: Validity of Permit. The issuance of a permit or approval of plans, specifications, and computations shall not be construed to be a permit for, or an approval of, any violation of any of the provisions of the building code or of any other ordinance of the jurisdiction. No permit presuming to give authority to violate or cancel the provisions of this code shall be valid. 13: Ventilation is required for all new rooms and spaces of new or existing buildings in conformance with the Uniform Building Code and the Washington State Ventilation and Indoor Quality Code, Chapter 51 -13 WAC. The specimens were placed in a heat flow meter, model Rapid -K, manufactured by Holometrix, Inc. Steady -State heat flux measurements were made at a mean temperature of 75° F using a hot face temperature of approximately 100° F and a cold face temperature of approximately 50° F. Specimen system thermal resistance and thermal conductivity were determined by comparing the heat flux measurements of the specimens to measurements made on a standard reference material of known thermal resistance and thermal conductivity. A calibration check was conducted before and after the test series. The orientation of the samples were with the reflective surface toward the hot plate and bottom of the sample to the cold plate. This orientation represented a downward heat flow as it is represented in a radiant heating project, with the isothermal plain on the warm side through the heating pipes on a given 6" slab. The resistance values obtained from the Rapid -K used in C518 -91 test Is best utilized for homogeneous samples. Therefore, the values reported for the specimens are considered an effective R- value.
