CALL TO ORDER Council President Robertson called the meeting to order and led the
audience in the Pledge of Allegiance.
COUNCILMEMBERS JOE DUFFIE, JOAN HERNANDEZ, CLARENCE MORIWAKI,
PRESENT ALLAN EKBERG; STEVE LAWRENCE, JOHN RANTS.
JOHN McFARLAND, City Administrator; ALAN DOERSCHEL,
Finance Director; ROSS EARNST, Public Works Director; KEITH
HAINES, Tukwila Police Department; DON WILLIAMS, Parks
Recreation Director.
Council President Robertson explained the process to be used in
categorizing the 1992 capital commitments. Council will go through
the list of capital projects and reach consensus on which projects they
determine to be committed. When that's completed and it is known
what the committed projects are and what the committed dollars are
for every year, Council will look at other projects that, either
individually or as a group, they think should be done or included.
Council proceeded to go through the list of capital projects,
designating them either totally committed, unsure, and or not
committed.
Council President Robertson called a recess until after the conclusion
of the Regular Meeting.
Call Back to Order The meeting was called back to order by Council President Robertson
at 8:02 p.m.
Special Issues (con't)L Council continued discussions of capital commitments. It was decided
1992 Budget /Capital that during the next week, administration and council would review
Projects and prioritize the projects list for discussion at the October 14th
C.O.W.
