VALUATION OF CONSTRUCTION Valuation foi new ct:nstruc:tion arid addiiions are calculated by the Department of Community Development prior to application submittal. Contact the Permit Coordinator at 433 -1851 prior to submitting application. In all cases, a :- amount should be entered by the applicant. This figure will be reviewed and is subject to possible revision by the Building Division to comply with current fee schedules. EXPIRATION OF PLAN REVIEW Applications for which no permit is Issued within 180 days following the date of application shall expire by limitations. The building official may extend the time for action by the applicant for a period not exceeding 180 days upon written request by the applicant as defined in Section 304(d) of the Uniform Building Code (current edition). Required fire resistive construction, including occupancy separations, area separation walls, exterior walls due to location on property, fire resistive requirements based on type of construction, draft stop partitions and roof coverings shall be maintained as specified in the Building Code and Fire Code and shall be properly repaired, restored or replaced when damaged, altered, breached, penetrated, removed or improperly installed. (UFC 10.601) When walls and ceilings are required to be of fire resistive or noncombustible construction, interior finish materials shall meet the requirements of U.B.C. 4203.
