SPONSOR'S Strander Blvd Extension Phase II will install a new BNSF bridge over a Strander Blvd
SUMMARY undercrossing that will tie into the new Sounder's Tukwila Longacres Station. The
Interlocal Agreement with Renton (approved by Council 3/7/11) specifies that Tukwila
will dedicate a portion of a city -owned parcel that is located between the Burlington
Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) and Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR) rights -of -way that is needed
to construct the Strander Blvd Phase II project.
