BUILDING OWNER / AUTHORIZED AGENT If the applicant is other than the owner, registered architect/engineer, or contractor licensed by the State of Washington, a notarized letter from the property owner authorizing the agent to submit this permit application and obtain the permit will be required as part of this submittal. EXPIRATION OF PLAN REVIEW Applications for which no permit is issued within 180 days following the date of application shall expire by limitations. The building official may extend the time for action by the applicant for a period not exceeding 180 days upon written request by the applicant as defined in Section 304(d) of the Uniform Building Code (current edition). No application shall be extended more than once. Plan check number B92 -0374 After an initial review of the subject project, it has been determined that additional information and corrections to the plans be submitted to complete the plan review. Please address the following comments. 1. All new heated room configurations are required to meet the minimum energy code insulation requirements, including the ceilings. Provide information to show compliance. . Provide drawing details for any new ceiling finish, if proposed. If suspended ceilings are to be used the grid lay out should be provided showing the lighting and a seismic bracing detail. A Lighting Budget of watts per quare foot, is required for new rooms and Light Switching details on the drawings if applicable per the Washington Energy Code. 4. The proposed Waiting Area and the Lunch Room are not allowed to exit though the area where automobiles are stored and repaired, U.B.C. section 3303(e). Exits must be provide through an appropriate adjoining room or directly out side. Drawing details should include the method of attaching the new walls to the existing roof with lateral bracing per UBC section 2309.
