All structural welding to be done by W.A.B.O. certified welder and special inspected (Sec. 306, UBC). 9. All high - strength bolting to be special inspected (Sec. 306, UBC). X . Any new ceiling grid and light fixture installation is required to meet lateral bracing requirements for Seismic Zone 3. Subgrade preparation including drainage, excavation, compaction, and fill requirements shall conform strictly with recommendations given in the soils report prior to final inspection (see attached procedure). 16.
