Community Development prior to application submittal. Contact the Permit Coordinator at 431-3670 prior to sub
application. In all cases, a valuation amount should be entered by the applicant. This figure will be reviewed and is
subject to possible revision by the Building Division to comply with current fee schedules.

W have analyzed the existing roof structure for its capacity to support water in the event of the roof

up to 5 -112" of standing water and the girders up to 10" of standing water.
T o overflows were added at each end of the building during the re- roofing. These are about 4'4"
in ' iameter and are located within 3" of the roof low point. So it appears that no more than 3" of
st ding water could accumulate on the roof if all the drains were blocked. The roof appears to hay
the capacity to support the load that would occur in this circumstance.

INSPECTION PROCEDURES AND REQUIREMENTS
All approved plans and permits shall be maintained available on the site in the same location.
1. FOOTING - When survey stakes and forms are set and rebar is tied in place.
2. FOUNDATION - When forms and rebar are in place.
3. SLAB - If structural slab or if undersiab insulation is required.
4. SHEARWALL NAILING - Prior to cover.
5. ROOF SHEATHING NAILING - Prior to cover.
6. MASONRY CHIMNEY - Approximately midpoint.
7. FRAMING - After rough -in inspections such as mechanical, plumbing, gas piping, electrical and fire stopping is in place.
8. INSULATION - Ater framing approval, but before installation of wallboard. Baffles must be installed to keep attic
ventilation points clear.
9. SUSPENDED CEILING - Fasten diffusers, lights and seismic bracing.
10. WALL BOARD FASTENING - Prior to taping (see UBC Chap. 47 and Table 47G).

14. FINAL FIRE INSPECTION - Contact Fire Department for their requirements.
15. FINAL PLANNING INSPECTION - Contact Planning Department for their requirements.

As per your request, we have reviewed the roof on the . above
referenced building. The existing roof is comprised of a vapor
barrier with two (2) inches of perlite rigid roof insulation
embedded in asphalt. Upon this a P.U.F. (Polyurethane Foam) roof
was applied.

After the P.U.F. roof is removed and any wet roof insulation is
removed and replaced, we will mechanically fastened 2.5" polyiso
and a.one half inch (k ") coverboard.
Next, a layer of performance building products Permax B -Base FR
II modified S.B.S. base sheet will be set into a uniform mopping.,.
of hot asphalt. Upon this a layer of Permax B : FRII mineral ;.
surface cap sheet will be. installed. It too, will be fully
embedded into a uniform mopping of hot asphalt The base and
wall flashing will be comprised of the same products. This
