The information in this catalog refers to the general fastener types recommended by Robertson. All fastener systems employed by Robertson have been thoroughly tested in the laboratory and proven in the field. Stainless Steel Fasteners Specially - designed hex -head stainless steel fastening screws are recommended for fastening all Robertson products to each other and to the structure. 300 Series stainless steel screws are available on special order. 410 Series stainless steel screws (4AH type) are stan- dard. Standard 3 /8" hex socket fits all Robertson fasteners. Fastener Types ❑ AH034 -14 Used where two layers of sheet metal are fastened ... side laps, end laps, flashing, etc. ❑ AH100 -14 Used where four thick- nesses of panels are fastened at corners and to fasten to structural steel. O AH112 -14 The same as AH034 -14 except 1 - long. Used to fasten panels to structural steel at eaves, and plate gutters. O AH200 -14 The same as AH034 -14 except 2" long. Used with sandwich construction. Special and Self - Drilling Fasteners Many details require special fasteners which are available and suitable for limited applications. Examples of these would be: rivets, grommet type bolts, explosion relief type, anchors to masonry, fasteners for wood, and other special straps and clips. Self- drilling stainless steel fasteners are also available. Fastening details and special fastener information is available from your local Robertson representative.
