Mayor Rants called the Special Meeting of the Tukwila City Council to
order.
ALLAN EKBERG, Council President; JOAN HERNANDEZ,
DENNIS ROBERTSON, CHARLIE SIMPSON, STEVE
LAWRENCE, STEVE MULLET.
It was the consensus of the Council to excuse
Joe Duffie due to military leave.
JOHN MCFARLAND, City Administrator; MICHAEL KENYON,
City Attorney; LUCY LAUTERBACH, Council Analyst; ROSS
EARNST, Public Works Director; RON CAMERON, City Engineer;
DOUG MICHEAU, Public Works Coordinator; RICK BEELER,
DCD DIRECTOR; DENNI SHEFRIN, Associate Planner.

MOVED BY EKBERG, SECONDED BY SIMPSON, TO ACCEPT
THE CONSENT AGENDA SUBMITTED.*
Councilmember Robertson requested "Approval of Vouchers" be
withdrawn for discussion.
MOVED BY EKBERG, SECONDED BY LAWRENCE, TO
APPROVE THE CONSENT AGENDA WITH THE EXCEPTION
OF ITEM "3A APPROVAL OF VOUCHERS." MOTION
CARRIED.
Councilmember Robertson informed the Council he had not reviewed
the vouchers and offered an apology for not doing so. Lucy
Lauterbach, Council Analyst, stated that she had looked through the
vouchers.
*MOTION CARRIED.
MOVED BY ROBERTSON, SECONDED BY HERNANDEZ,
THAT THE SPECIAL MEETING ADJOURN TO EXECUTIVE
SESSION FOR ONE HOUR (IMMEDIATELY AFTER A TEN
MINUTE RECESS) TO DISCUSS LABOR MATTERS. MOTION
