AN ORDINANCE amending Section 3 of Ordinance No. 341 in the
City of Tukwila, and Ordinance No. 376 of the City of Tukwila, which
previously amended Ordinance No. 341, and providing for a schedule of
charges for sewage service,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: Section 3 of Ordinance No. 341 and Section 1 of
Ordinance No. 376 are hereby amended to read as follows:
Section 1: SCHEDULE OF CHARGES.
Rates and charges for sewage service furnished and available
for use, shall be paid by the recipient of said service and shall be
as follows:
Commercial and industrial sewage service:
A flat rate of $4.00 based on the first 700 cu. ft. or less of
water useage shall be charged. The rate for sewage service en premises
using more than 700 cu. ft. of water per month shall be 15 cents per
additional 1-O0 cu. ft. of water useage. The water useage shall be based
en the average water useage for the premises during the months from
October through March.
B. School Sewage Service:
The rate of 15 cents per month for each school occupant shall be
charged.
C. Multiple Dwellings
The rate of $4.50 per month for the first dwelling unit and $4.00
for each additional unit shall be charged.

D. Residential Sewage Service:
A flat rate of $4.50 per month for each single family residence
shall be charged.
E. Penalty Charge:
There shall be a penalty charge of Ten per cent (10 of the
monthly charges for any payment not made within thirty (30) days of
the billing date.
