O Fire retardant treated wood shall have a flame spread of not over 25. All materials shall bear identification showing the fire performance rating thereof. Maintain fire extinguisher coverage throughout. 2. Exit hardware and marking must meet the requirements of Uniform Fire Code Sections 12.104 & 12.114. Exit doors shall be openable from the inside without the use of a key or any special knowledge or effort. (UFC 12.104b) Exits shall be illuminated at any time the building is occupied. An emergency system shall automatically provide exit illumination upon failure of the main power supply. (UFC 12.113a) 3. Maintain sprinkler protection for all enclosed areas.
