These situations are illustrated on Sheets 1, 3 and 4 of six of the seismic analysis. Calculations to determine adequate anchorage and the required base plate size were performed based on the site information that you provided and these loading conditions. Under the various load cases, it has been found that this racking requires attachment per Sheet 6 of six to resist overturning forces, due to seismic loadings per 1988 UBC Standards.
