We faxed to you a copy of the wash fountain specifications. You indicated to me by phone that you feel the design complies with the Washington State handicap code as it pertains to lavatories. Item 2. We increased the width of the questioned handicap toilet stall in the women's restroom by 2" for a total of 56". This is the maximum that we could modify it without losing the adjacent water closet. You agreed my phone that this would be acceptable due to the pre- existing conditions. Please find enclosed revised sheet 114 -001- 1073 -A2 with changes made to the women' s restroom. Thank you for your efforts. Please contact us if you have any questions. Sincerely yours, Layne F. RECEIVE CITY OF TUKWItA SEP 6 1550 PERMIT CENTER TECHNICAL DATA C Quadra - Fount' Washfountaln - Model 2904 t- • SERVES ONE TO FOUR USERS AT A TIME • COMMERCIAL OR INSTITUTIONAL APPLICATIONS • SAVES WATER AND ENERGY • FIELD-PROVEN METERING PERFORMANCE • HIGHLY VANDAL-RESISTANT • MEETS PARRIER•FREE CODES • CONVENIENT TO INSTALL AND MAINTAIN SIZE-CAPACITY The Quadra•Fount 46" Washfountain serves one to four users. (See drawings on reverse side.) Model No. 2904. EFFICIENT OPERATION Accommodates from one to tour users at the same time, handling washroom traffic quickly, economically, efficiently. The preassembled sprayhead module 1s equipped with four Independent spray nozzles, each controlled by a separate push button. A light tap of the push button activates a metered flow of tempered water from one spray nozzle. TM Quadra•Fountr"' can serve up to four users at a time, using less water, energy and space than four lava equipped with conventional faucets. With its streamlined contemporary styling and designed-in durability, the Quadra•Fountr'" is ideal for commercial or Instltutlonal washroom applications. WATER/ENERGY CONSERVATION Each of four spray nozzles is controlled by a separate metering valve. Timing Is field-adjustable from 5 to 20 seconds, with 7.10 seconds recom- mended as optimum range. Shutoff is automatic. In a 10 second cycle, each valve uses less than half the maximum amount of hot water allowed by the ANSUASHRAEIIES 90A•1980 Standard. The .5 GPM metered flow is blended by a Bradley Vernatherm thermostatic mixing valve. The Quadra•Fount can also use a single tempered line. RELIABLE METERING PERFORMANCE The Quadra-Fount's metering valves utilize the same basic design as Bradley's field-proven 90.75 metering faucet. The unique cartridge design, which contains all working parts, assures consistent timing and flow at water pressures from 20 to 100 psi. VANDAL•RE8IBTANCE The molded sprayhead is an integral element of the bowl module. Its concealed vandal-resistant spray formers discourage abuse. Cast stainless steel push buttons are partially recessed Into the sprayhead and secured with tamper•resistant screws. Metering cartridges are safely concealed Inside the sprayhead behind the push buttons. The heavy- gauge stainless steel front access panel Is removable only with a hex key. All supplies and waste are concealed within the pedestal, which has durable molded terrazzo side panels. ACCESSIBILITY The Quadra-Fount Is designed for use by everyone, Including the disabl- ed. Clearance requirements and reach to push buttons and water streams meet most existing barrierfree codes. Less than 5 lbs. pressure activates a safe, tempered flow of water which shuts off automatically. Optional backsplash• mounted liquid soap veto* an available. 021540$ ,' f INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE Because the Quadra•Fount's bowl module is preplped and preassembl- ed, and one set of plumbing connections serves up to four users, in• stallation and maintenance are simplified. Metering valve timing is ad- justed by turning a screw • without shutting off water supply. If the meter• ing valve should ever need replacing, it can be done in about the time it takes to change a flashlight battery. BOWL AND PEDESTAL MATERIAL PRECAST TERRAZZO • composed of 85% stone with 15% binder. Heavy steel reinforcing rods are cut Into the bowl. Both bowl end pedestal side panels are ground, polished and finished with clear urethane to improve erosion resistance and appearance. COLOR SELECTION Precast terrazzo bowl and side pedestal panels are furnished In bright White Marmorite. Optional colors available at extra cost. Contact your local Bradley representative for details. PEDESTAL CONSTRUCTION Pedestal consists of two precast terrazzo Criswell, one heavy gauge stainless steel wall mounting plate, one heavy gauge stainless steel front access panel, floor and bowl anchor brackets. STANDARD EQUIPMENT Bowl and pedestal as described above plus the following fittings: stop, strainer and check valves, Vernatherm thermostatic mixing valve, four cartridge•style metering valves, spud and locknut. Mounting panel provided. VIM SPECIAL EQUIPMENT AND GUIDE SPECIFICATION See reverse side. 1414 .211a44`_MMemonN PIN t27.1 " lECHNICAL DATA L&.
