VALUATION OF CONSTRUCTION Valuation for new construction and additions are calculated by the Department of Community Development prior to application submittal. This figure will be reviewed and is subject to possible revision by the Building Division to comply with current fee schedules. Maintain fire extinguisher coverage throughout. 2. Exit hardware and marking must meet the requirements of Uniform Fire Code Sections 12.104 & 10.402(a). Exit doors shall be openable from the inside without the use of a key or any special knowledge or effort. (UFC 12.104b) Exit doors shall swing in the direction of exit travel when serving an occupant load of 50 or more. (UBC 3304(b)) Panic hardware is required on all assembly area exit doors (UFC 25.106) Exits serving more than 50 occupants shall be provided with illuminated exit signs.
