ORDINANCE NO. 401
REPEALED BY 564
AN ORDINANCE relating to the storage of motor vehicles
and motor vehicle parts.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of
Tukwila, Washington:
SECTION 1. It shall be unlawful for the owners or
occupants of private property to deposit or accu-
mulate, or to permit the deposits or accumulation,
of abandoned or deserted motor vehicles or motor
vehicle parts, or unsightly motor vehicles that
are in disrepair, non operating and upon which
repairs are not made within three months. Motor
vehicles and motor vehicle parts within this class-
ification are declared to be a nuisance.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall not prohibit the
storage of motor vehicles that are in use or the
storage of motor vehicles or motor vehicle parts
not in use, if kept in an area screened from public
view.
SECTION 3. Any person, firm or corporation found
violating any of the provisions of this Ordinance
shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon
conviction thereof, shall be punished by a fine of
not more than $300.00 or by imprisonment for not
more than 30 days or by both such fine and imprison-
ment.
SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
affect from and after its passage, approval and
publication as fleequired by law.
