CALL TO ORDER Mayor Rants called the Special Meeting of the Tukwila City Council to
order and led the audience in the Pledge of Allegiance.
COUNCILMEMBERS STEVE LAWRENCE, Council President; JOE DUFFIE, JOAN
PRESENT HERNANDEZ, DENNIS ROBERTSON, CHARLIE SIMPSON,
ALLAN EKBERG, STEVE MULLET.
RHONDA BERRY, Assistant to City Administrator; LUCY
LAUTERBACH, Council Analyst; DON WILLIAMS, Parks and
Recreation; RICK BEELER, DCD; LES BECK, Shops; ROSS
EARNST/RON CAMERON/DOUG MICHEAU, PHIL FRASER,
Public Works; RON WALDNER/KEITH HAYNES/ROSA
KROWS /CRAIG WESTBY, Police; NICK OLIVAS, Fire.
MOVED BY ROBERTSON, SECONDED BY HERNANDEZ, TO
APPROVE THE BID AWARD CONTRACT AS SUBMITTED TO
LAKESIDE INDUSTRIES IN THE AMOUNT OF $441,212 FOR
THE 1993 OVERLAY PROJECT.*
Council President Lawrence commented that he has had no discussions
or input at all with staff in regards to one of the projects (ped paths) that
will be located near his home.
*MOTION CARRIED.
ADJOURNMENT MOVED BY EKBERG, SECONDED BY MULLET, TO
10:17 P.M. ADJOUR THE SPECIAL MEETING. MOTION CARRIED.
