Automatic shutoff shall be accomplished by interrupting the power source of the air- moving equipment upon detection of smoke in the main return-air duct served by such equipment. Smoke detectors shall be labeled by an approved agency for air -duct installation and shall be installed in accordance with the manufacturer's installation instructions. The appropriate key(s) for access shall be placed in the lockbox. Lockbox order forms must be obtained from the Tukwila Fire Department. The lockbox should be mounted so that it is readily visible and not over 60 inches high. (City Ordinance #2051) 20: The Tukwila Fire Department has changed keybox manufacturers, from Supra to Knox. Install a fire department Knox keybox. Contact the Tukwila Fire Prevention Office at 206 -575 -4407 for ordering information. 21: In all occupancies, quantities of flammable and combustible liquids in excess of 10 gallons used for maintenance purposes and the operation of equipment shall be stored in liquid storage cabinets. Quantities not exceeding 10 gallons are allowed to be stored outside of a cabinet when in approved containers located in private garages or other approved locations. (IFC 3404.3.4.4) 22: Cabinets shall be provided with a conspicuous label in red letters on contrasting background which reads "FLAMMABLE -KEEP FIRE AWAY".
