The extinguisher(s) should be of the "All Purpose" (2A, 10B:C) dry chemical type. Travel distance to any fire extinguisher must be 75' or less. (NFPA 10, 3 -1.1) 13: Portable fire extinguishers shall be securely installed on the hanger or in the bracket supplied, placed in cabinets or wall recesses. The hanger or bracket shall be securely and properly anchored to the mounting surface in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. The extinguisher shall be installed so that the top of the extinguisher is not more than 5 feet above the floor and the clearance between the bottom of the extinguisher and the floor shall not be less than 4 inches. 14: Extinguishers shall be located so as to be in plain view (if at all possible), or if not in plain view, they shall be identified with a sign stating, "Fire Extinguisher ", with an arrow pointing to the unit. If the installation is adjacent to one or more existing wall,' start the floor installation on that side first.. Next lay the adjoining floor panel next to the 'first panel. Before locking the two panels together, insure that the panels are aligned on each end and that the top of the panels are flush. Lock the panels together. Continue this process until all of the panels are locked together. After•locking each panel, Insure that they are level, flush'and square to one and another. Shims may be used to insure level- ness and to make the floor panels flush.with, each other. It is necessary to lay down a series of 1'X4' rot resistant sleepers under the floor panels to allow for ventilation, and prevent ice' build up.
