2: No changes will be made to the plans unless approved by the Engineer and the Tukwila Building Division.
3: Electrical permits shall be obtained through the Washington State Division of Labor and Industries and all electrical
work will be inspected by that agency (206- 835- 1111).
4: All permits, inspection records, and approved plans shall be available at the job site prior to the start of any
construction. These documents are to be maintained and available until final inspection approval is granted.
5: All construction to be done in conformance with approved plans and requirements of the Uniform Building Code (1997
Edition) as amended, Uniform Mechanical Code (1997 Edition), and Washington State Energy Code (1997 Edition).
6: Validity of Permit. The issuance of a permit or approval of plans, specifications, and computations shall not be
construed to be a permit for, or an approval of, any violation of any of the provisions of the building code or of any
other ordinance of the jurisdiction. No permit presuming to give authority to violate or cancel the provisions of this
code shall be valid.
7: Manufacturers installation instructions required on site for the building inspectors review.

CamLock Section Fasteners
Mean Quick Assembly
and Tax $ Savings
The illustration at the right shows how panels
are joined together utilizing a rugged steel
cam -lock actuated from the inside of the unit
with a standard hex -head alien wrench for quick
assembly of walk -ins. Cam -lock holes ore then
covered with snap cops. All sections to be joined
have two rows of closed cell gasket material
adhered to the metal creating self - sealing, air
tight joints.
Imperial's cam -lock fastening device allows
prefabricated walk -ins to be treated as
equipment, permitting the walk -in to be depreciated
over a shorter period of time than built -in -place coolers and freezers.
Finishes
Interior and exterior surfaces may consist of the following in any
combination:
• Stucco galvanized steel (standard)
• Smooth bright galvanized steel
• White high gloss enamel in either a smooth or stucco pattern
• Stucco aluminum
• Stainless steel 304 #4 finish
• Custom colors available, ask your Imperial representative
Our unique rigidized metal pattern is offered as a no cost option on all
panel finishes. This feature improves appearance and overall strength. It is
offered in all Imperial metal finishes and recommended on panels over 12
feet high.
Insulation
Urethane
Urethane offers the very best insulating value with an "R" value
rating from 25 to 46 depending on thickness. Urethane insulation
has a 97% closed cell content to prevent moisture absorption. This
insulation is a foamed -in -place Class 125 flame spread urethane
with a smoke developed of no greater than 450 in accordance
with ASIM E 84. This insulation will remain stable at a
temperature range of -60 °F to +200 °F. Note that test results are
not intended to reflect hazards presented by this or other material
under actual fire conditions. Standard panel thicknesses are 3.5 ",
4.0" or 5.0" in the high density perimeter panels and 3.5" or 5.5"
in wood frame construction.

Fiberglass
Fiberglass is composed of inorganic fibrous glass with a low "K" factor whicl
will not rot, corrode or support combustion. Imperial utilizes oversized baits
to prevent sagging of the insulation. Standard panel thickness is 3.5" for
coolers and 5.5" or 7.25" for freezers.

Pre— Fabricated Floors
Floors, when required, are constructed in the some manner as wall and
ceiling panels except a heavy gauge metal wearing surface is
provided. Standard floors are made to withstand 300
pounds per square foot. Pallet and forklift floors
are available on request. Contact your sales

Options & Accessories
Imperial walk -ins may include remote or self contained refrigeration systems,
metal shelving, solid or glass doors, vapor proof lights, door closures, viewing

sizes are produced by Imperial's skilled
door craftsmen. Standard infitting swing door
sizes are 36" x 84 ", 52" x 84 ", and 60" x 96", with custom sizes available
on request. Swing doors are built into one of the modular panel sections
and equipped with durable cam -rise hinges and a positive latch with
inside safety release. Freezer doors feature a self - regulating anti -sweat
perimeter heat cable (UL approved). Hardware finish can be either chrome
or polished aluminum. Swing doors have closed cell sponge rubber "D"

and electric sliding doors in o variety of styles (single, bi-
parting, sectional and vertical) and a wide range of door coverings to meet
all your requirements. For larger applications, doors are made in sections
and cam - locked together on -site. Easy to replace neoprene bulb -type gasket
seals are provided. Single and bi- porting door tracks are completely
horizontal for ease of door operation. The ends of each track are inset so the
door is automatically snugged to the frame for a positive seal every time.
The sliding track unit is welded, hot dip galvanized and /or powder coated
for corrosion protection. Rollers are concealed behind the full width door
hanger for a streamline appearance.

commenced within 180 days from the date of such permit, or if the building or work authorized by such permit is suspended or
abandoned at any time after the work is commenced for a period of 180 days.
Based on the above, you are hereby advised to:
Call the City of Tukwila Permit Center at 206 - 431 -3670 to arrange for the next or final inspection.
This inspection is intended to determine if substantial work has been accomplished since issuance of the permit or last inspection; or if
the project should be considered abandoned.
If such determination is made, the Building Code does allow the Building Official to approve a one - tune extension up to 180 days.
Extension requests must be in writing and provide satisfactory reasons why circumstances beyond the applicants control have
prevented action from being taken.
In the event you do not call for the above inspection and receive an extension prior to 12/21/2004, your permit will become null and
void and any further work on the project will require a new permit and associated fees.
