Its our understanding that a permit is also required for the erection of the walk -in cooler & freezer enclosures, but on this project that is not part of our scope of work. We have been hired by the manufacturer of the refrigeration equipment, Coldzone of Brea California, to perform the installation as part of the package they sold to the owner or to the owners' kitchen equipment contractor. The cooler & freezer enclosures will be assembled by another entity, who will have a separate agreement with one or the other of those parties. Our foreman, Wayne Miller, told me that we need to document our non - involvement with that part of the work to clarify the distinction & allow our permit application to be processed.
