The structure is a concrete tilt -up style with a wood framed roof system. The existing roof system consists of 2x4 rafters framing into 6x12 purlins that frame into 6 x221/4 glulam beams. which sit on TS 4x4 columns. The four new mechanical units place an additional toad of 6071bs to 6571bs pounds per unit on the existing root' system. Based on our review. it appears that the existing roof system is adequate. however additional support must he added below the unit locations. Details are attached to describe the specifics of the upgrade. The existing columns are adequate for the additional loads. The load, generated by the new units. causes less than 1 "i of additional stress to be placed on the lateral system.
