12l0110 Park Property
It is unlawful to mmnvo, deahny, mutilate or deface any

trees, plants, signs or other property Iawfully in any park in the
City of Tukwila.

It is unlawfu! to allow or permft any ariimal 10 run at Iarge
in any park unless authozed by King County Parks Depart-
ment in Fort Dent Park, or in a City park by the Parks and
Recreation Director. Horses are not permitted in any park ex-
cept on posted bridle trails.
12l0.030 Motor Vehicle Opera ms
It is unlawful to operate any motor vehicle in City public
parks except upon a paved roadway or parking |m4, provided,
however, that the Parks Director may give written authorization
for the operation of a motor vehicle at any place within a City
public park when such vehicle is being operated in furtherance
of City business.

12.08.040 Fireworks or Firearm Discharge
It is unlawful to discharge any fireworks or firearnis within
the boundaries of any public park within the City.

12.08.050 Teasing, Ann irg, Feeding of Any Ani
mal Prohibited on Park Property
It shall be unlawful for any person in any park, in any
manner to tease, annoy, disturb, molest, injure, kill, throw
stones or projectiles of any kind at, or to strike with any stick or
weapon, any onima|, b|rd, fowl or fish. It shall be unlawful for
any person in any park to feed any wild animal, bird, fowl or
fish except as may be authorized by the Parks and Recreation
Director. Furthar, it shall be unlawful for any person to catch
any fish at Tukwila Pond Park, except as may be authorized by
the Parks and Recreation Director.
12.08.060 Refuse Deposit
It is unlawful to throw any refuse or Iitter in any park, ex-
cept in designated receptacles. It is unlawful to deposit any
refuse not generated in the parks in designated park recep-
1aduo.
12.08.070 Fires
It is unlawfu to build any fire, except in device designed
to contain such fires. Fires are allowed only in designated
areas using approved devices. No open fires are permitted.

12.08090 Facilities Use Reservations
Groups wishing to reserve a City of Tukwila picnic shelter
or ballfield may request to do 50 on a first-come, first-served
basis by contacting the office of the Parks and Recreation De-
padmont. Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:30
AM and 5:00 PM.

12.08.095 Park Hours
It is un!awful for any person to be in a public park when it
is closed. A park may be closed to public use during certain
hours as determined by the Mayor. Such closure hours shall
be posted on the property.
12.08.100 Violation - Penalty
Persons in violation of these rules and regulations are
guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shaU be punished
by imposition of a fine of not more than $300.00 and/or impri-
sonment for not more than 30 days.

A. Minors under the age of 18 are prohibited from pos-
sessing, smoking or otherwise using tobacco products on
Tukwila pubIc park property, at the Tukwila Community Center
and the outside areas adjacent to the Center, and at other City
facilities.
B. A violation of this section is an infraction and the vi-
o|atnriuoubject0oacivi|8neofupho$1OO.00. A notice of
infraction shall be ssued and assessed in the same manner as
traffic infractions. The provisions contained in Chapter 46.63
RCVV for the disposition nf traffic infractions apply tn the dispo-
sition mf|nfractinnxnf1hi000ctinnexooptaxfuUowo:
1. The provisions in Chapter 46.63 RCW relating to
the provision uf records ho the Department uf Licensing in ac-
cordance withRCYV46.20.27Oonunoiopp|ioab|otuthioaee
tion; and
2. The provision in Chapter 46.63 RCW relating to
the imposition of sanctions against a person's drivers Iicense
or vehicle Iicense are not applicable to this sectiori.
