ORDINANCE NO. 391
REPEALED BY ORD 569
AN ORDINANCE setting forth the duties of the City Treasurer
and setting forth the compensation for the office aV City Treasurer.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council for the City of Tukwila
as follows:
SECTION 1. City Treasurer Duties.
The City Treasurer shall receive and safely keep all money
which comes into his hands as Treasurer, for all of which he shall
execute triplicate receipts, one to be filed with the City Clerk.
He shall receive all money due the City and disburse it on warrants
issued by the Clerk and countersigned by the Mayor, and not other-
wise. He shall make monthly settlements with the City Clerk at
which time he shall deliver to the Clerk the duplicate receipts
for all money received and all cancelled warrants as evidence of
money paid.
SECTION 2. The City Treasurer shall perform all other duties
required of him by State Law or Ordinances of the City of Tukwila.
SECTION 3. Compensation
The Treasurer of the City of Tukwila shall receive an annual
salary of FIVE THOUSAND, FOUR HUNDRED DOLLARS ($5,400.00).
