Roof plan required to identify individual equipment and the location of each installation (Uniform
Mechanical Code 504 (e))
Details and elevations (for roof mounted equipment) and proposed screening
Heat toss Calculations or Washington State Energy Code Form #H -7
H.V.A.C. over 2,000 CFM (approximately 5 ton and larger) must be provided with smoke detection shut-
off and will be routed to the Fire Prevention division for additional comments (Uniform Mechanical
Code 1009),
Specifications must be provided to show that replacement equipment complies with the efficiency ratings
and other applicable requirements of the Washington State Nonresidential Energy Code.
Structural engineer's analysis is required for new and the replacement of existing roof equipment
weighing 400 pounds and greater (Uniform Building Code 1632.1). Structural documentation shall be
stamped by a Washington State licensed Structural Engineer.
NOTE: Water heaters and vents are included in the Uniform Mechanical Code -- please include any water
heaters or vents being installed or replaced,

Dear Mr. Henderson:
Its reviewing our current permit files, it appears that your permit for installation of dust collection
booth at Kcnworth Truck Company issued on April 24, 2000, has not received a final inspection
as of the date of this letter by the City of Tukwila Building Division.
Per the Uniform Building Code and /or Uniform Mechanical Code, every permit issued by the
building official under the provision of this code shall expire by limitation and become null and
void if the building or work authorized by such permit is not commenced within 180 days from
the date of such permit, or lithe building or work authorized by such permit Is suspended or
abandoned at any time alter the work is commenced for a period of 180 days.
Based on the above, ifa final inspection is not culled for within ten (10) business days from the
dote or this letter, the Permit Center will close your file and the work completed to date will be
considered non- complying and not in conformance with the Uniform Building Code and /or
Mechanical Code.

Dear Sir:
The attached set of mechanical plane have been reviewed by
The Fire Prevention Bureau and are acceptable with the
following concerns:
1. No point in a s rinklered building may be more than
250 feet from an exit, measured along the path of travel.
(UBC 1004.2.5.2.2)
2. Maintain sprinkler coverage per N.F.P.A. 13.
Addition /relocation of walls, closets or partitions may
require relocating and /or adding sprinkler heads.
Refrain from blocking sprinkler coverage with
shelving. NFPA standard #13 states that any shelving
or decks in excess of 4 feet in width will require
installation of sprinklers thereunder.
k All new sprinkler systems and all modifications to
existing sprinkler systems shall have fire department
review and approval of drawings prior to installation
or modification. New sprinkler systems and all
modifications to sprinkler systems involving more than
50 heads shall have the written approval of the
W.S.R,B., Factory Mutual, Industrial Risk Insurers,
Kemper or any other representative designated and /or
recognized by The City of Tukwila, prior to submittal
to the Tukwila Fire Prevention Bureau. No sprinkler
work shall commence without approved drawings. (City
Ordinance #1742)

strictly to the standards of The National Electrical Code.
(NFPA 70)
An aisle to and working space shall be provided for
each electrical panel. An aisle width not less than
24 inches shall provide access to the panel and 30
inches of working space shall be provided directly in
front of the panel. (NEC 110- 16(a), NEC 110- 16(c))
Each circuit breaker shall be legibly marked to
indicate it's purpose. (NEC 110 -22)
Any overlooked hazardous condition and /or violation of the
adopted Fire or Building Codes does not imply approval of
such condition or violation.
